The performers were asked to choose their own character - any animal from the African savanna. They were to perform in costume of course. Does my child choose a tiger or lion or other reasonably simple animal? No, he and his friend Julia want to be meerkats...So, after research, planning, shopping, sewing, ripping and sewing again, we actually produced two furry meerkats!
